When we talk about the soul of Hashtag United, we talk about players like Albie Devereux. Since the early days of the club, “Devs” has been a constant, a reliable, talented, and genuinely amazing guy who has seen this club grow from a YouTube project into the non-league powerhouse it is today.

In our final match against Dulwich Hamlet FC, the result on the pitch was only half the story. The real story was saying goodbye to a man who has given eight years of his life to the yellow and blue.

More Than Just a Player
From the mud of the lower divisions to the bright lights of our current journey, Albie has carried himself with the kind of class that every young player at this club should aspire to. Whether he was put in a shift on the pitch or being the life and soul of the squad off it, his impact is irreplaceable.

Watch the Final Farewell
In this video, we go behind the scenes of Albie’s final game. It’s emotional, it’s raw, and it’s a fitting tribute to a player who will always have a home at Hashtag.
